 PDP30 Orchids and St Peters Stone An early summer shot looking along cressbrook dale past early purple orchids towards st peters stone. Worth a visit in may here, as all along the eastern side of the valley are hundreds of these 6 inch high orchids. This photo took some setting up with a tripod to get it framed like this and some time waiting for a lull in the wind which was blowing the flowers around as I needed to use a narrow aperture and slow shutter speed to get it all in focus. |
