From a path off the road up to Litton which is a good vantage point to see the Church from above all the nearby buildings. I was here photographing the church too, but looking around was drawn to the one house rendered in bluegrey and the pattern of houses away into the distance. Using a telephoto lens I could zoom in onto this and have cropped it down to this tall thin shape. The chimney pots add colour along with the bright red post van, which I first thought I should crop out too. I've done a little blurring / diffusing of this one to add to the painterly look.
I was also there a week before the snow in bright sunlight but this view doesn't seem to work without snow covering the grey slates.
