Looking north along Stanage edge with a heather fire visible beyond. I got there probably an hour too late between Christmas 2008 and new year and shortly after this the sun disappeared for the rest of the day, but I got a few shots with sunlit foregrounds in front of dark skies beforehand. You can see the smoke from the fire on Derwent edge beyond.
