Ladybower and Moscar from Winhill PD378

From just below winhill pike looking north east towards ladybower dam and the road up to Moscar and Sheffield. Always take the camera! I set off in overcast light for an evening walk up from Hope, and by the time I was at the top the sun finally appeared below the clouds just before it set. The distant hills are shrouded in mist but the viaduct and surrounding hills near the dam were still just sunlit. The pink evening light, rocks, heather and bare trees all combine to give lots of browns and oranges, even in the darker pine trees to the left.
