Ladybower Dam to Derwent Edge Snowy Portrait PD153
Ladybower Dam to Derwent Edge Snowy Portrait PD153
Looking across from Ladybower waters edge east up to derwent edge. You can just make out the salt cellar rock formation top left. The diagonal lines of trees, walls and paths help lead you across the frame and the perfectly calm water (slightly frozen overnight I think) give a good reflection. The snow had almost gone 2 days after it arrived but here in this north south valley it lasted a little longer and gives some definition with the grass beginning to show through.
