Eccles Lane nr Hope Snowy PD144

A winter morning shot looking south up Eccles Lane between Hope and Bradwell. I used to walk up here to work, so one morning after an overnight snowfall incorporated it into a walk to Castleton and Winnats Pass. It is made by the sun through the left hand trees, the shadows across the road itself and the curve of the trunk and branches of the big tree to the right. I like the almost black and white quality of snowy woodlands.
