Curbar Gap from Stoney Middleton snowy PD116
Curbar Gap from Stoney Middleton snowy PD116
A winter afternoon shot of Curbar Edge and Gap with the last snow visible below. This was taken from up the hill at Stoney Middleton with a telephoto lens (you can just see a nearby chimney frame bottom). It is really made by the bits of snow left mainly on the north side of a hill at Calver Sough and in the shadow of a couple of walls around Curbar and Froggatt, and by the zig zag lines of field boundaries and roadways.
