From the beach north of the castle on a january morning, We were staying at Amble, a few miles south, and had a little trouble remembering the way to this beach, it being about 25 years since since my last visit! So once on the sand I immediately set up the tripod and took a few shots quickly, thinking the light may be at its best already, and getting worse by the second. I then moved back onto the rocks and out to the waves crashing on outcrops, but never bettered this which is one of the first I took.
